IDCROWD is a web-based platform designed by Maunank Shah and Stadia Consulting to facilitate clinician education by offering a resource to share cases (without protected health information), and discuss diagnostic and treatment approaches with each other. Your access to and use of IDCROWD ("We", "Our", "IDcrowd.com") is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use apply to all visitors, users and others ("Users") who access or use IDCROWD. By accessing or using IDCROWD you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you disagree with any part of the Terms of Use then you may not access IDCROWD.
No Warranties and Limitation of Liability
IDCROWD allows clinicians to share and discuss cases. All content and information posted by users is their own. IDCROWD makes no attempt to verify the accuracy of case descriptions, or user recommendations. Users acknowledge that recommendations may or may not be consistent with current standards of care. The The Johns Hopkins University and its legal entities, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and the Johns Hopkins Health System, Maunank Shah, and Stadia Consulting are not liable for omissions or errors, or for any damage or loss of any other kind involving clinician users or their patients. Users are encouraged to independently investigate content published in IDCROWD. IDCROWD is provided as distributed, without warranty, expressed or implied, and use of the information is at the risk of the User.

IDCROWD is intended for licensed healthcare providers and medical trainees for educational purposes only. The purpose of the website is to facilitate sharing of information related to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases. IDCROWD does not explicitly endorse medical advice or treatment guidance provided between USERS for patient care. Users agree to use their medical judgment to determine care and treatment for their patients. Users agree that information contained in IDCROWD does not constitute advice about specific medical conditions or treatment, and patients are urged to contact a licensed medical practitioner with health questions or concerns. No doctor-patient relationship results from use of IDCROWD, and subscribers should not delay seeking medical attention based on briefing contents.
Indemnification
Subscribers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IDCROWD or its creators or editors, The Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education (CCGHE), the Johns Hopkins University or any of its legal entities, Johns Hopkins Medicine, or the Johns Hopkins Health System, University or Health System leaders, faculty, or staff from and against any claims, actions, or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from, or alleged to result from, a User's use of IDCROWD or breach of the Terms of Use.
Governing Law
Terms of Use Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland without regard to its conflict of laws rules. A subscriber expressly agrees that exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or dispute with IDCROWD, CCGHE, Johns Hopkins University or any of its legal entities, Johns Hopkins Medicine, or the Johns Hopkins Health System, University or Health System faculty or staff, contributors, or service providers, resides in the courts of Maryland, and further consent and agree to personal jurisdiction by the state and federal courts sitting in the State of Maryland in connection with any such dispute.
Copyright
Contents of IDCROWD are provided to users in good faith for purposes of nonprofit educational use. The content, in part or in total, has been provided pursuant to the doctrine of "Fair Use" as defined in United States copyright law. Subscribers agree to the requirements of "Fair Use," and unauthorized use applications may violate copyright, trademark, service mark, or other laws. Subscribers agree not to copy or adapt the HTML or other code used to generate website pages. Subscribers agree not to sell or modify contents without express permission of IDCROWD.
Registration
Subscribers must provide true, accurate, and current information in the registration form and should make every effort to maintain the registration information current in the event of changes.
Privacy Policy
These Terms of Use incorporate the entirety of the IDCROWD Privacy Policy. Do not enter or store individually identifiable patient health information or data (Protected Health Information; PHI) as described by The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 on IDCROWD.
Modifications
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use IDCROWD after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using IDCROWD.
